Learn to make Shaker Oval Boxes.

Learn about the tools and techniques used to make Shaker Oval Boxes. In this introductory course, you will steam bend and tack the box bands and shape and fit the top and bottom boards while making your own oval boxes.

Course topics include: patterns, tools and forms used in box making, steam bending box bands, shaping the top and bottom boards, and basic skills essential for working safely with hand tools and woodworking machinery.
