Woodworking Basics (Tool Tote)

Build a classic tool tote

The tool tote is a straightforward and practical woodworking project. Students in the standard course will build a classic tool tote. Students in the full course will build a tool tote with a drawer.

While making this functional shop project, students will develop their woodworking skills, build confidence in using basic tools, and gain practical experience working in the woodshop.

This course will include instruction in reading and understanding furniture plans, an overview of lumber selection and material preparation, and procedures for working safely with basic tools.
